How to find us
From the M4
Follow the M4 to Pont Abraham. Continue on the A48 to Carmarthen. Take the A40 then the A485 to Lampeter. Travel through Peniel, Rhydargaeau and Pontarsais. Turn right at signpost for Brechfa and Llanllawddog.
Travel 1 mile and approx. 400 yards past the church you will see the entrance to Glangwili Mansion.

From Mid Wales A40
If you are travelling from mid-Wales through Llandeilo, do not leave the A40 until you reach the first major roundabout at Carmarthen. (Some sat-navs have a sense of humour on this route and will take you off-piste!)
Take the second exit to the next roundabout near Glangwili Hospital, then take the second exit on to the A485 to Lampeter. Travel through Peniel, Rhydargaeau and Pontarsais. Turn right at signpost for Brechfa and Llanllawddog.
Travel 1 mile and approx. 400 yards past the church you will see the entrance to Glangwili Mansion.

Traveling to Glangwili Mansion without a car is NOT reccommended
Glangwili Mansion is in a beautiful, (but relatively remote), rural location, approx 7 miles outside Carmarthen.
Taxis are few and far between and very expensive. So as we do not have a restaurant onsite, it would not be a practical option to be without a car.
If you are travelling to Carmarthen by train, we would suggest that you arrange in advance to hire a car, so that you have the independence to experience all that this fabulous county has to offer.
